Kidney Stone Cure
A kidney stone cure is right in your medicine cabinet and you probably didn't even know it. It's thought that
excessive calcium in the diet can lead to kidney stones. Although men are nearly 4 times more likely to develop
this extremely painful affliction, women do also get them.
Acidic urine is also a commonly found in those who have this affliction and most kidney stones are
composed of calcium oxalate. So reducing the intake of foods that naturally have calcium oxalate is a good
general prevention. Some foods that have a great deal oxalate are spinach, chocolate, nuts and most beans.
Some herbs that are good for reducing the acidity of urine and thereby reducing the chance that an actual kidney
stone will get formed are: Crampbark, goldenrod and joe-pye weed.
Drinking a healthy amount of water (more than 1 liter) is also beneficial if you are prone to developing
kidney stones. By keeping water moving through the body there is a lesser likelihood of developing stones.
A good kidney stone cure is citric acid or good old vitamin C. It will naturally dissolve kidney stones over
time. Just mix fresh lemon juice into some water. Or simply take vitamin c supplements. Cranberries are also
highly acidic and will help breakdown kidney stones.
