It is not surprising then to know that about a third of people suffering from hypertension do not know that they have it. This is why it has been called a “silent killer.” People barely experience high blood pressure symptoms; they do not experience external symptoms even though Hypertension may already be causing damage to their organs and tissues. This aspect makes hypertension a dangerous medical condition more so as it can lead to heart diseases, stroke, kidney failure and other serious medical conditions.
