How to Make Natural Psoraisis Soap

Many people are interested to know how to make natural Psoriasis soap. Psoriasis is a skin condition that is characterized as having dry, flaky and inflamed skin. There are certain soaps that can irritate the skin which means its condition can worsen. This is the reason why people choose to use soaps that are made with natural ingredients. Not all stores though sell natural soaps for Psoriasis which is why it is a good thing that you can make your own Psoriasis soap at home. Here are the simple steps on how to make natural Psoriasis soap.

For your ingredients, you will  need 2 teaspoons of Comfrey root, 2 teaspoons of Oregon Grape root, ½ cup of Aloe Vera gel, 35 drops of Lavender essential oil, 10 drops of Tea Tree essential oil, 3 ounces of liquid castile soap, a quart mason jar, a squeeze bottle and cheesecloth.

The first step in making natural soap for Psoriasis is by placing all the herbs in the quart mason jar and filling it with boiling water. Cover it tightly with a lid and leave for at least 8 hours. However, you can allow the herbs to steep overnight in order to make a strong herbal infusion. Oregon Grape root has is a good remedy for Psoriasis because of its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. Comfrey root on the other hand is good in healing skin tissues that have been damaged.

Next, strain the herbal mixture using a cheesecloth. Mix a cup of the herbal infusion you made with Aloe Vera gel and liquid castile soap. Aloe Vera has a natural pH level of 4.3 which helps in treating skin disorders. It also has properties that can soothe itchy and painful skin. Aside from that, Aloe Vera contains a chemical called aloin which acts as a natural sunscreen. Pour this mixture in a squeeze bottle and then add your Lavender and Tea Tree essential oils. Both of these oils have antimicrobial properties, making it a good natural remedy for Psoriasis.

Shake it well so that the essential oils will mix well with the soap. After doing that, you will be ready to use your natural Psoriasis soap. You can store the soap natural Psoriasis soap in the refrigerator if you will not be using it for 3 to 4 weeks.
