And believe it or not caffeine is also effective in reducing pain. It blocks pain receptors in the
brain and so reduces sensitivity to pain to some degree.
Turmeric has also been widely used to control pain. It has anti-inflammatory properties and has a long history
of treating pain in both Chinese and Indian medical systems.
