What is important is to keep the genitals moisturized at all times to prevent itching. However, you should avoid using products that has a fragrance as this can irritate the skin. Keep it clean at all times as well. Use a mild soap when washing it. It is believed that products that contain coal tar help in relieving symptoms caused by genital Psoriasis. However, it may have an unpleasant smell so you should only use it when going to bed and wash it off the following morning. It is also advisable to wear loose clothing. Clothes that are made of cotton are known to be the most comfortable. Doctors also recommend that people who have genital Psoriasis should have their stress under control as this can aggravate symptoms related to it.
